.
It is done....and hopefully I will not have to hear from it again.
Finished the move yesterday, and have been recovering since. Took a load to the dump that was bigger than Jesus.
I live in a shantytown of boxes and crumpled newspaper. The cats have adapted and returned to their usual birdlike behavior. Still, it is a mess that WILL see an end - and eventually become ours to enjoy.
In other news...
Brain is exploding over the recent denials and lies pouring out of the White House. First, he says that the uranium information was wrong, now the teflon administration is deflecting the blame onto the CIA and the U.K.
I wonder if Tony Blair knew that "British intelligence" would be held responsible for American aggression?
And George Tenent. A lamb to the slaughter.
A veteran of the Clinton administration, it looks like Tenent is going to take the fall for Bush. Even when there is information that points to a broader abuse of power within the Bush ranks, it looks like the head of the CIA is doomed.
And where is the media these days?
Reporting on the success of American operations while under duress. Reflecting on the sacrifice of our soldiers - the cost of war.
Pity they don't spend more time publishing the accounts of those who are still alive and struggling with the horrors that our illegal aggression has wrought.
