Time's been flying by again - so, I've got a little to catch up on...

This weekend was full. Somehow managed to pull it all together though - and come out the other end in pretty good shape.

Friday night spend celebrating a good friend's birthday. Ann - we love ya!

Saturday - spent getting the ducks lined up for MY party at the CST. After scrambling to grab a keg, buy refreshments and get things set up - we had a great time. Spun Godzilla vs. Mothra while the faithful assembled and started imbibin'. As the day wore on, the personal filmmaking efforts came to the fore - as did the fun. 'Soldier Boy' got two screenings - no less. The heckling was merciless - as I was leading most of it.

The Belushi Experience went off without a hitch - other than forgeting it after we arrived at the theater. It's my desire to further refine the material and make it something better than butt cuts and uneven audio. There's something good to be had - it's just needs more work.

On Sunday - I managed to attend church, mow the lawn (thanks to Chris) and (drum roll please) SELL OUR PONTIAC GRAND PRIX!! Turned out that the owner of the CST is also fond of picking up the occasional classic car for spiffing up and resale. Just my luck - I happened to have such a car - rotting in front of the house. I was happy to clean out the personal effects that had lived there for the past year - including a few we'd written off as lost in the move. I am soooo happy to be rid of it - despite its utterly cool physique. If it had been there for another month - I might have been forced to start sporting a mullet and leave engine parts on my front lawn.

Thanks to Seth and Mike for making it all happen!

Wrapping things up now. A packed day topped off with steaks that unfortunately tasted like lighter fluid. It rots in my stomach as I write this.

The first great sin of spring cookouts has been committed.
