The worm has turned again....
pResident Bush stepped to the live news conference podium last night, hoping that another blast of retoric and bombast would help solidify his eroding popularity numbers regarding Iraq.
Apparently he didn't count on being questioned too hard.
After 17 minutes of storytelling - the pRez opened things up for questions, only to have the persistant issue of public apology rise to the forefront. Five times....he was asked by reporters - if he felt some inkling of responsibility for the missteps that led to 9/11.
"I'm sure mistakes were made, I'm just can't think of any right now." he said.
That's our president - ever articulate under pressure. God forbid he should actually admit making a mistake.
