So....Reagan is dead. The Gipper has retired permenantly.

Not to speak ill of the recently passed, but the decidedly slavish attention being given to his recent passing seems to forget/forgive the dark and ugly things his administration did to the world - nevermind the American people.

Despite his self-depricating manner and ability to "communicate" with the U.S. citizenry, his policies were often infused with doublespeak, deception and disregard for those outside of the rich and powerful.
