Ah....the frustrations of volunteerism.

As one of my final acts with my employer (by the way, I have a new job) - I coordinated a another beach cleanup in Rockaway Beach. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Weather in Oregon isn't always agreeable. Forecasts eroded 20 of my 52 volunteers - and the weather this morning claimed the rest. Ah well....at least Alex, Greer and yours truly got rained on.

It was actually raining lightly, but there was wind and incoming thunderstorms. After a half-hour of hauling Greer in his new backpack, he'd had enough. He's been finding a new screeching level that can unhinge paint....guess he's got his parents voice. 4 hour drive - to clean up for half-hour on the beach.
