Beer Guy and a Bad day in Iraq

So I got a call last week from my casting agency - wanting me to audition for a role in a new short film by PDX director Todd Korgan. When I showed up to read, I was in the company of two big guys dressed as bikers (they were in fact, the real thing). I soon discovered that the role was for a biker-type, which left me and my Hawaiian shirt/shorts feeling kinda lame and leatherless. Regardless, my acting must have made an impression, as I landed the role. They even changed the character a little to look like The Dude from The Big Lebowski. I love it when I get typecast. Anyway, the shoot is this evening, so I'll post the aftermath when it rolls in.

In other news...

Lest we forget the continuing travisty in the Middle East....14 soldiers were killed by another makeshift bomb - for a total of 21 in the last three days.

The current official U.S. toll is 1821 dead and 13559 injured. Add that to 26264 Iraqi civilians killed - and you have a pResident who has a lot of explaining to do.
